Harnessing the Power of Motivation for Your Kyani Business

The renowned motivational writer and speaker Dr. Stephen R. Covey once said, “Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that for you, chances are it will burn very briefly.”

What is motivation?

There are two types of motivation:

  1. Intrinsic: Motivation that comes from within us.
  2. Extrinsic: Motivation that comes from outside us; from parents, friends, teachers, bosses, and others.

Motivation can simply be described as a reason or cause by which an individual or a group behaves in a certain way. The cause has to be strong enough to move the person or group forward, and it often involves self-interest and/or self-progression.

If you have effective and realistic plans that do not conflict with the law it is easy to stay motivated. Motivation is what brings people to new heights and capabilities. Motivation to succeed is what continues to push me to new heights in my Kyani business. In just a few short months I should achieve the rank of Blue Diamond! These simple steps will help you remain on-track and motivated despite inevitable obstacles.

Money is Important

Whether we like to recognize it or not, money matters in keeping us motivated. This does not mean we need to have a goal to be a millionaire, we simply need to have a healthy desire to earn a comfortable living. The decent and fine things in life can be a prime motivation. You can start saving a portion of your income to begin your savings.

Goal Setting

Goals are a metric reference to help us gauge how we are progressing. To achieve our long-term, big goals we first must meet specific, small, short-term goals. Here are a few ways to look at goals:

Short-term Goals: These may be achieved in a few weeks or a couple of months.

Mid-term Goals: These usually take a year or two to achieve.

Long-term Goals: Career options, marriage plans, or investing in a home or car.

Surround Yourself with Positive People

Friends and close connections with a positive mindset and attitude are the best at keeping their friends motivated. These kinds of people will motivate you when you are feeling down and inadequate. Diligently search for people like this who will help you become your best when you are at your worst. When negative thoughts arise, and they will, be sure to keep in touch with these positive friends.

Treat Loans like the Plague

Debt is a prison. Earn your money and use it wisely. Save for future expenditures and investments. Loans will encumber you as you try to move forward. There are few things that may require loans, like education or purchasing a house. Even then strongly consider your options.

Treat your Mistakes as Experiences

Learn from your past mistakes, because our human condition will keep us making mistakes. Mistakes are the perfect way to recognize and overcome our flaws. People have a tendency to lose motivation after they make a mistake, but it does not need to be this way. Be the kind of person that can move forward despite the problems you face.

Be Confident

When you are tempted to think poorly of yourself or of your goals, remember all the good you have done. Keep in mind all the troubles and trials you have yet overcome and reflect on how you overcame them. Somehow things worked out and you are simply facing your next obstacle. Things have a way of working themselves out, so do not worry.

Analyze what your True Motive is

Wrong motives can lead to misplaced motivation. Once you know your deep motive and why you are motivated that way, then you can easily stay on the path of determination.

Choose Happiness

Life is about your response to Plan B. Adverse situations come and we need to be able to stay positive no matter what happens.
